Mrs. Heather Ratcliff- Art

This is Mrs. Heather Ratcliff's second year at New Heights School. Mrs. Ratcliff has had a passion for art since she was 6 years old. At age 7 she began to study art in semi-private classes where she first began to paint with oils, acrylics, and watercolors. Some of her earliest paintings are still framed and hanging on the wall of her parent's home. Now that she has her own children who make paintings for her refrigerator door, she understands how important it is for caring parents and teachers to encourage small children as they enjoy their God-given ability to create art. She completed her student teaching for grades K-12 at Lexington Elementary School and Crayton Middle School.
